Who I am

As you may have noticed from the picture on the right, racing has been in my DNA for a very significant chunk of my life. While I would go to the odd event at my local track, unfortunately it never materialized, no matter how many times I begged my parents. It simply wasn’t within our means to buy, run, and maintain a go-kart. When the the Covid-19 pandemic finally started to wind down I landed my own sim gear. Finally, years after watching my favorite youtubers race and race I could join in on the fun for myself. I never looked back. Between competitions with real race teams, winning endurance series championships, and crossing paths with real drivers, this has been some of the most fun I have ever had in recent memory.

Outside of racing, you can find me at my work, where I specialize in helping the intellectually disabled population maximize their potential, and help them reach their personal goals by helping them search for jobs, volunteer to build a resume, and job coaching once they get there. I also love being active, riding my vintage Klein and Ibis Mountain bikes, and occasionally heading to the ice rink when I can for a skate or some stick & puck practice. I also am a former competitive swimmer, and I currently assist in coaching Special Olympics swimming, as well as basketball, and softball.
